Hasan's Sports Grill is a Sports Grill that offers sports bar amenities without serving alcohol whatsoever. A place where you and your family members, friends, and colleagues can enjoy all your favorite foods and sporting events around the clock!

Great food and non-alcoholic cocktails are all available at Hasan's Sports Grill. Hasan's focus will be offering our customers a delicious, and unique culinary experience. Halal prepared food favorites will be on hand daily while you watch all your favorite events. This will be an out of body experience, simply because Ottawa has nothing like it. On a personal note, I myself have traveled throughout this beautiful city to find a Halal steak. Unfortunately I failed to do so. I then had to travel to Toronto to fight off my cravings.....Yes LEBRONTO;)

Hasan's Sports Grill was created by foodies (like yourself) who love to eat out regularly. Unfortunately, Ottawa has limited venues to enjoy all our favorite foods such as wings, pasta, kebob rolls and bacon wrapped (anything:). This whole idea came to fruition due to our own passion for food and honestly when I came to Ottawa all the way from NYC. I sadly noticed that all my favorite foods were not being offered and that's when HASAN'S SPORTS GRILL WAS BORN.

Introduction

Let's start off by giving you all an introduction about us!

Ameerah and Syed are best friends who grew up miles away from each other. Ameerah was born in Brooklyn, New York and Syed was born in Ottawa, Canada. We both put our minds, experiences and work ethics to action and will soon be opening Ottawa's new 'hot spot' InshAllah. We began building our plans from the ground up, we did this by doing things the right way in our opinion of course. By displaying our love for Allah SWA and food on our sleeves, we will be putting in the hard work and sweat that is necessary for our business to flourish and grow to unimaginable heights InshAllah.

So what are we going to do?

We are going to open Hasan's Sports Grill one way or another InshAllah. A truly independent sports bar and grill, designed to put sports, great food, and great customer relations at the top of our list. It will be Ottawa's first alcohol-free sports bar, but more than that, it will be a beacon of Fun & Games that we hope one day InshAllah will become a haven for people who love exactly that; sports, food and socializing.

This campaign is very important to us both, we need your support system in place in hopes that it will run itself after you indulge in our thoughts. We need people with our passion and understanding.

In a nutshell, Ottawa has limited places for Halal options (unless you want shawarma, burgers or even Afghani cuisine). I love those options but unfortunately I cannot eat them everyday. We all need to indulge in varieties that interest our everyday palettes. Please take some time out and find out for yourselves, go out for wings one night and see if you're able to obtain them at your local sports bar (the answer to that is an obvious yes). Every single bar in Ottawa or abroad has a wing night, right? So finding them should not be of any concern, BUT unfortunately, none of us are able to enjoy these spoils because they are not HALAL (which is what we yearn for).

We simply want to offer our Ottawa community and visitors from abroad, foods that we all love without having to worry about it being Halal. Pretty simple. 

                                So that is exactly what we plan on doing!

How do you 'THE INVESTORS' come in?

We've already secured the necessary licenses, as well as the property itself. A fantastic team (which is key) will await your presence and will be ready to serve you BUT as we stated earlier, we're not the wealthiest by any means. We need your humble assistance at this very crucial stage. JazakAllah Khairan. 

We are so grateful and fortunate to have this successful platform by our side. Especially during our time of need, as well as a number of independent-minded investors (like yourself). Who will kindly invest in us and our abilities to helping us make this dream a soon to be a reality. InshAllah.

All we need now is a push from all of you beautiful souls, to ensure that we are able to decorate, furnish and equip Hasan's Sports Grill to heightened standards for you the people of Ottawa and abroad. 

We will be using your generous investments to source and purchase epic scale televisions and arcade gaming systems, so that our lovely children and friends can have something else to do other than just eat and drink.

We will also be using your investments to hire the best team imaginable. Unlike our competitors, our staff will be paid the true living wage, not just the bare minimum wage. Why? Simple, because at Hasan's Sports Grill we strongly believe in the living wage foundation and believe that happy, secure, rewarded staff will always give you (our lovely future patrons) the best service money can buy.

We are seeking $30,000 from all of you to help us finish the final stages of our humble sports grill.

If for any reason we do not receive the $30,000 that we are seeking. You can rest assure that every dime dropped on this campaign will be going towards Hasan's Sports Grill! This is our passion and in return we promise to make it yours as well. It is something that is needed for our youth and our sports fans from all walks of life. Impact:

This is not your every day SPORTS GRILL. We are Independent, service driven, quality led and HUNGRY (not only for Halal food but for an opportunity to open something for all of us)! Why? Because we are customers just like you! Ottawa DESERVES and needs more independent businesses like Hasan's Sports Grill.

This project is designed to reward YOU. Its a place where everybody will love coming too thanks to the atmosphere. The lighting will be subtle, not too bright not too dim...just right...the volume will be monitored so that you all can enjoy your conversations comfortably, while viewing your favorite teams go head to head.

BASKETBALL, TENNIS, CRICKET, SOCCER, FOOTBALL, you name it HASAN'S will play it!

What are the risks and challenges?

We value transparency above everything else and we believe if you're going to ask others to put their hard earned money on the line then they better know and be aware of the risks. 

Like all new businesses, the biggest risk of all is failing in the 1st year and running into debt. I think we all agree that's a pretty big risk right? One will never know unless one puts in his/her all and tries to the point of no return. FEAR IN NOT AN OPTION ALHUMDULILLAH. Ameerah joined forces with Syed for that very reason. Syed has a record of taking under-performing businesses and turning them into fantastic, successful ones Subhanala. Challenges will always remain, its up to you to determine how to face them and how to adhere to them to the best of YOUR abilities. 

We want this restaurant to be a success, for YOU for US,  our families, friends and colleagues only because it is needed and because WE WANT IT, and WE WANT IT BAD!

Some individuals are unable to contribute, and that is perfectly ok! We'd never expect anyone to put themselves into debt on our account, just because you are unable to contribute that doesn't mean you can't help!
