The Problem

Please read these 3 short emails we received from someone who wanted to accept Islam, but was holding back...

Now, let me explain what's going on...

Thanks to the groundwork we’ve laid over the past year, people like the person above are actively reaching out to Overcome for help in their journeys to Islam. 

In fact, we have dozens of people waiting to hear back from us. But, unfortunately, we're struggling to keep up due to lack of staff.

Before Ramadan, we had three to five new seekers reach out to us each week. And during Ramadan, we have about three to five per day.

And these numbers will only grow the more popular we becomes.

And that means more and more disappointment :(

The Solution

We need to recruit an international network of volunteers to help people complete their journey to Islam—including answering emails, building relationships, staffing booths, writing stories, producing content, digital marketing, promoting Overcome... and the list goes on.

To do that, we need to produce a short explainer film that:

• engages viewers;
• educates them about Overcome;
• convinces them to volunteer; and
• inspires them to share it with others. 

Alhamdulillah, we’ve found a film production company that has experience making similar films. Not only that, but they also understand Overcome and its Muslim audience — a rare combination. 

The only snag is that we can't afford them!

How You Can Help

Although the film will cost £8,500 to produce, we need you to help us raise £2,550 as the film production company has agreed to start with a 30% payment.

Thereafter, we need help raising a bit more to make a fundraising version of the film as well as an Arabic version so that we can also use it to seek donations from the Middle East. And if you can help us cover the complete cost, we can save ourselves from falling into debt.

This film is absolutely pivotal to the realisation of our vision. So, whoever donates towards the video will earn a share in the outcome of the video: helping people accept Islam. 

And the more you donate, the greater your share.
