Help provide a well rounded education for school children in the most remote areas of Pakistan!

Innovate. Educate & Inspire (IEI) Pakistan is asking for your help to continue our mission of positively impacting the education infrastructure in Pakistan.

IEI was founded in 2016 to close the educational gap by improving the Public Education System to provide High Quality, Equitable and Integrated Education in remote and less accessible parts of northern Pakistan.

Over the past few years, we have seen up close the challenges children face to even get to school. 13 year old Gulshan Parveen walks an hour every day in the mountains of Northern Pakistan to get to school. Despite these challenges, we see plenty of reason for hope - just this month Aliza, a grade 7 student from Misgar was able to to qualify for the best boarding school in the region , after a few months of working with IEI on her Mathematics and English.

For 2019, IEI needs your help to conduct a School Building & Development Program in the remote mountain valley of Shimshal

We are raising funds to conduct a School Development Program in the remote mountain valley of Shimshal this year to revamp its existing educational structure, enhance educational facilities and realign the school towards a modern, holistic education system with inquiry, discovery and creativity as the driving elements.

The money will help us finance our program in two phases:

Phase I:

• Year Long School Development Program (Early Childhood Years to Grade 8)

• Provision of Material Resources for Early Childhood Education

• Teacher Trainings for Capacity Building of local faculty.

• Provision of Stationery, Notebooks & Project Supplies.

• A Library equipped with 400 + Books

• A Computer Lab equipped with 6 Desktop Computers

• 10 week long Adult Literacy Program for mothers and adolescent out-of-school girls.

Phase II:

• Construction & Set up of a state-of-the-art Early Childhood Development Unit for the village of Aminabad.

• Recruitment & Training of Faculty

IEI is a passionate & committed team, lead by Marvi Soomro, a Software Engineer turned Educational Innovator, Karimie Hunzai, a local artist motivated to give back to his community. IEI Pakistan has run 5 successful programs with 11 Volunteer Cycles in 2 remote valleys of Upper Hunza, improving the quality of education by integrating science, technology & art in the school curriculum while creating cultural bridges across the country via Volunteerism.

As a volunteer organization our programs provide a cross cultural experience to volunteers and the communities & children we work with.

• Our volunteers experience life in remote areas and build empathy for life of those without basic necessities such as electricity, clean water and internet access.

• The communities & children get an enriching and engaging educational experience, access to core school facilities and exposure by interacting with volunteer teachers from different areas, cultures and walks of life.

Our Work in 2018

Transparency is one of our founding principles, all the money goes directly to costs related to running the program. We document complete program activities to showcase the work done (videos/images) in addition all financial reports will be shared with our donors.

Books also go a long way. We took hundreds of books up with us last year; please donate any books that could interest children, especially those that add value from an educational standpoint.
