Yemen is “the World’s Worst Humanitarian Crisis”

The world watches, astonished, as the unthinkable occurs: millions of little ones and their caretakers are famished in Yemen, due to conflict that’s not their fault.

• 50% of Yemeni children are stunted in growth due to malnutrition

• 55% of Yemenis don’t have regular access to safe water, hygiene, & healthcare

• 60% of Yemenis are food insecure

• 75% of Yemenis need humanitarian assistance and protection

• 79% of Yemenis are poor

• 90% is the rate of increase of severe acute child malnutrition (across 3 years)
