ISCJ's First Official Renovation & Expansion in 25 Years!

The Islamic Society of Central Jersey (ISCJ) was once the pre-eminent Masjid in NJ from a facility standpoint but now has fallen behind. Our facilities are lacking. Without proper facilities, we cannot conduct programs to the scale and quality necessary to continue to support the community including NUI, Weekend School and Quran Academy and so much more! We know you all know how important this is from an Islamic point of view and from a practical point of view!

We cannot stress enough how absolutely important it is for us to come together and support this project. We need to take care of Allah's house and the benefits of either building or renovating a Masjid are numerous, in this life and the hereafter.   Please view the photos and videos and share them with your family and friends.  There is a lot of work to be done in a short period of time.  All bathrooms need to be renovated and upgraded, the multi purposes room is not enough to hold the amount of people for even a small event.   We need to expand to support the need of the people (we have TWO Jummahs because we do not have the space to accommodate everyone.  People even pray in the hallway due to space issues). Our goal is to complete new bathrooms for men and women before the start of Ramadan with your help!

Please keep in mind that this is the FIRST OFFICIAL fundraising we are doing for the Masjid since it was built in the 1980s! Yes, since the 1980s.  We clearly must renovate our Masjid —badly — new bathrooms, more prayer space (designated women’s prayer space), better programming to have functional space for seniors and youth (see a video of the planned renovation). In the past 40 years, our community has grown by 400% whereas our usable square footage had remained the same in the Masjid.
