Little bit about our wonderful community
Islamic society of Toronto boasts its presence among passionate brother and sisters of Islam. Serving tirelessly to accommodate and quench competing thirst of Imaan and yaqeen. Our community holds more than 3000 people in back to back Jum’ah prayers and counts more than 6000 people on EID.
Alhamdulillah, Islam predominates in our little community and is widely practiced. The current space of the mosque is large enough for daily congregational prayers but during Jum'ah, Ramadan and Eid most people pray outside on the ground.

Alhamdulillah in June 2017 the Islamic Society of Toronto has committed to purchasing a Masjid Property centrally located in Thorncliffe Park Drive
- 3.2 Acre in size with 66,377 sqf of building space.
- Great size of 137 onsite parking spots.
- Centrally located around 20 high raise buildings with approximate 400 apartments in one building
- Zoned to allow for a place of worship/community centre.
- Purchase price - CAD $10.9 million.
- 100% payment expected on Jan 1st 2018.

Our Muslim community has been looking for a suitable place to build the Masjid for 12 years now. The real-estate increasing prices in Toronto has always been a significant challenge to overcome. Now we have this opportunity that we do not want to miss, we've already paid 10% deposit, donated by the community members. The follow are ways you can support us:
