5/20/2017: It's official! The date for Saryah's surgery is set to May 26th, 2017! Alhamdulillah, thank you for everyone's efforts! Now for the final push inshallah!!!

4/12/2017: Saryah had a cross-match blood test (FCXM), and her doctor found a perfect donor!

We just need your help and a little bit of your support to reach our goal!

We're going to extend our campaign for another week to finalize the funds, insha'ALLAH. Please help in donating and spreading the word!

                                Jazakum ALLAHu Khayrun!!!

She Started Alone

Saryah never lived a normal person's life. At the age of 29, she had been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease in April 2009. Since she cannot afford the necessary number of flushes, three per week, she has received kidney flushes twice a week — which is an exhaustive process for her frail body that takes four hours each time.
Two weeks ago, she picked up malaria from her environment and that's caused her blood count to go down severely, to only 5. Her urea is at 122, and the creatinine levels are at 10.5, which are very high numbers. Another diagnosis showed us and her family that she is listed with Stage 5 ESRD (End-Stage Renal Disease). Other complications in her liver and heart along with these recent events have put her life in danger.

The recommended treatment for these symptoms is a kidney transplant, as both have failed in her system. Due to the uncleanliness of her residence, she must fly to Egypt to partake in the medical procedures.

Her Fear

Since her diagnosis recently, the costs of the process include: the surgery, along with the donor payment, resolves to be about $37,000*; renting a fully-sanitised room after the surgery costs $500*/biweekly, for six months for her recouvery; along with the rest of the procedures including X-rays & ultrasound ($2,500*); the flight for her and her family, as well as other living expenses; and the cell testing with the donor costs $3,000*.

*All of these costs have been converted into USD.

Our Fear

After the surgery, Saryah will still need six months to recover completely before being discharged. Her condition is life-threatening, and unfortunately we do not yet know how long Saryah has to continue living.

This only adds to our fear.

Saryah's father passed away three years ago and her mother has knee issues; and is due for kneecap replacement, however she gave the priority to her daughter's life-threatening situation. Due to these dire circumstances, her family is unable to properly fund her for her procedures; thus leaving her and her family in a position of fear & paralysis.

These funds will not only help Saryah with her condition, but return her to leading the normal life many of us take for granted — not to mention the happiness it will bring to her heartbroken mother, who feels helpless. Going to school, getting married, and having friends outside of the circle of relatives are all key factors in a person's growth and lifestyle. Unfortunately Saryah has never experienced these facets of happiness and all of us are afraid she never will.

Now She's Not Alone

As there is an ocean between us, the only help we can provide our relatives from here is with the resources their family does not have available there. With your help in spreading the word of Saryah's condition and the means of donating to her cause, we will be able to return Saryah to her family in the comfort of her home.

Family members around the globe have raised money to cover about a third of the costs so far, alhamdulillah, so we are planning to raise the difference insha'Allah.

How You Can Help

Nothing is too small a donation, as every dollar is greatly appreciated. Even if you are unable to assist her financially, please keep her in your prayers. We will keep you all posted with Saryah's status over the next several months.

Thank you so much for your time in reading Saryah's story and your efforts in helping her. There are no words to describe our gratefulness.

Surgery Date On Coming Friday!

Dear Donors,

Our efforts and dua'a have come to fruition! The surgery date has been set for this Friday, alhamdulillah. Thanks to your help and support, this solution has become a reality. Saryah does not have to worry about her dialysis anymore.

Due to the high costs of lab tests and medication to suppress her immune system (so the new kidney isn't rejected before/after the implant) is costing more than we estimated. So we ask all of you for one final push this week inshallah. Please continue to donate what you can and spread the word about Saryah's future happy ending!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and your consideration insofar.

JAK and pre-Ramadan Mubarak!

Saryah's Arrival

Saryah just arrived in Egypt today!

From the airport she went straight to the hospital to get some lab work done. She will be meeting the doctor on Saturday and she's going to have her first dialysis on Thursday!

Please continue to spread the word as you have, and bring people to this dire cause. Every dollar helps, thank you so much for all of your support & charity! Without your support, none of this would have been possible.

Jazakumallahu khairan for all of your efforts, and stay tuned inshallah for more updates.

Your Kindness and Humility Is Extraordinary!

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

No words can describe the gratitude we have with your support, where nothing is too little to reach our goal financially and spiritually; not to mention saving someone's life!

Saryah & her family are very grateful by your kindness!

Saryah was tentatively scheduled for surgery on the 15th of this month. Unfortunately, due to the shortage of collecting donations, the surgery has to be delayed for another two weeks with the hope of getting more donations.

Please continue to be generous with your Dua'a as well as spreading the words of good by sharing this link with your family & friends:
