​Salaam Alaykum dear brothers and sisters. My name is Victoria and Alhamdulilah I am a revert to Islam. Before embracing Islam, I was searching for the right path, and thought that I’d found it in Buddhism. During this time I had this tattoo done by a Buddhist monk in London which was supposed to give you ‘good luck’. A Buddhist spirit was called upon during the tattoo to  give me that luck. 

Later on, my oldest son made friends with a little Muslim boy. His mum and I became friends and through kindness and gentleness, she showed me the light of Islam. I could see the truth and beauty in Islam, and Alhamdulilah, I converted at a Neuman Ali Khan lecture in London.

But now I am left with this horrible, haram mistake. I now hate it and want to get it off of my skin. Even though I had it done before reverting, I’ve asked Allah’s forgiveness for this mistake and to cure me of this ‘spirit’ whose name was spoken when the tattoo was done. Because I wear hijab, Alhamdulilah it is covered up most of the time, but my husband has to see it and that is not nice for him. 

Please help me remove this tattoo. I am asking for donations to please help me remove it by laser, but this is expensive. We have a family with two sons Alhamdulilah and the removal is very expensive for us.

To everyone who donates, thank you from the bottom of my heart. It will improve my life so much to have this gone, because I will stop worrying about it and thinking about it all the time. I would like to inshaAllah be a good example to my sons, and this would also help me do that, by showing them that tattoos are haram.
