In April, I was given the opportunity to visit Gambia with Penny Appeal USA and see the outstanding progress your donations have made and what future donation will further fund. With your help, we will fund OrphanKinds 'build a village' program.

WHAT'S THE PLAN? 

We’re building communities centered around nurturing orphaned children.

Each of the homes in our OrphanKind village houses 10 orphan children and together with a trained foster mother, they form a family. The community is designed to provide for the complete nurturing of each child through education, access to quality healthcare, and the love of a foster mother to tend to their emotional and psychological needs.

I got to visit a couple of the centers established already, as well as one of the village communities being made. It was amazing how far they've gotten with donations and how many people they are directly helping! While I was there, I had the pleasure of meeting the children we are helping and they are thriving in the nurturing environment made by the organization. It's important to realize that this program is made to not just feed these children, but give them the opportunity to grow, learn, and become successful adults.

What does the OprhanKind Village include?

One complete home costs $50,000 USD . I'm joining forces with Penny Appeal USA to help fund the building of one home.

Each home includes:

•  4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms

OrphanKind Village:

•  Health clinic
•  Administrative building
•  Play ground
•  Mosque
•  Education center
•  Beautiful garden
