With the current pandemic taking place, we have closed our centers to ensure the well-being of our community. Unfortunately, with our center closed and programs on pause, we are unable to generate our normal revenue from Juma'ah donations, programs, and classes.

We are in need of support from our community so we can continue paying staff and monthly center bills.

Social Distancing Should Not Mean Social Isolation

Our community has always come together in support of one another and giving everything they have to help people in their time of need. Despite the closing of our centers for health precautions, we're continuing ALL our class and programs ONLINE. Join us as we create a virtual online experience with our community!   

As the nation goes into a state of emergency and people react to the uncertainty facing us, it’s hard to know where to turn for spiritual support, grounded advice, and clear direction. The MAS Brooklyn team has come together to take all our Programs, Halaqas, Quran Classes, and Weekend School online!

Abu Musa reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace, and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, the believers are like a structure, each part strengthening the other,” and the Prophet clasped his fingers together.

We are building out online content that will help everyone stay connected. Most will be through Zoom for a personalized experience, giving students a chance to ask questions and participate. Think of it as an interactive TV Channel that draws upon the skills and talents of our community. We’ve tested it out with some programs already and have gotten amazing feedback. We now need your help to scale our efforts.

Outreach & Youth Dept - $1,500
Office & Masjid Supplies - $1,000
Program Supplies including food - $1200
Professional Services - $2000

In addition to virtual programs, we plan to identify the needs of individuals especially the elderly, look out for available resources, and coordinate delivery of appropriate resources. We are in need of funds to assist our community during this time.
