Donate to help youth build their emotional capacities because they shouldn't be left without the skills they desperately need to prevent Psychological struggle.

Help fund our participation in Merit360

We have been selected by World Merit, a UN SDG partner organization, to participate in Merit360, a project development and mentorship program that will help us develop our next mental health innovation project over the next 10 months.

Our project is a platform that will teach young people emotional skills in an individualized manner with the support of trained counselors and AI/machine learning technology. We will be piloting the program in Morocco and the UAE inshallah!

Who are we?

Our work in Morocco

FairyLights Community

Fairylights is a mental health support group and community of girls. The main objective of this project is to create a safe space for exploration and vulnerable conversation around difficult mental health topics as well as the provision of psycho-education around these topics.

Each season a specific mental health topic is placed under the spotlight and discussed through offline events and online content for the duration of three months. Our offline events pair an activity with a support group discussion on the topic and other events include mothers in order to raise their awareness in how they support their girls.

Emotional Development Programs

We partner with educational institutions such as High Schools, institutes and Universities to provide a workshop program for young people throughout the academic year that focuses on core skills needed for their psychological development.

Our core program focuses on the development of the young person’s knowledge of themselves, their self narrative and identity. They learn to identify the beliefs that are limiting them in order to transform their view of their future.

We also teach them how to identify their emotions and raise their emotional literacy to improve their conceptualization of emotion states. When they understand the various moods and emotion states their experience, they then learn to regulate them and have the skills and tools to change them.

We then teach them to understand the emotions and perspectives of other people in order to tailor their communication to the other to have a more attuned conversation and express themselves fully.

Mental8: Mental Health innovation Summit

Mental8 is a summit that brings together people from various sectors who share a concern for the problem of access to mental health care and desire to contribute to its resolution. Through the course of a six day summit with workshops, trainings and mentorship, they explore and understand the complex problem of access to mental health care and develop innovative ideas into projects that can be integrated into their own sectors.

The summit is the product of a partnership between Inspirecorp and Jazz 3/4 with the support of various other partners from Academic institutions, UN SDG organizations and Governmental bodies. The summit is scheduled to take place in Marrakech at the end of October 2018, inshallah.
