The Earthquake in Nepal

Over the weekend as many of us went about our ordinary lives, a magnitude 7.9 earthquake struck 50 miles from Kathmandu in Nepal. At last count, over 3,000 people are estimated dead, over 6,000 are believed to be injured, and over 1 million have lost their homes.

We Can All Make a Difference

I'm asking my friends and family members to contribute at least $10 each to this campaign, which will be collectively donated to Islamic Relief. If we all donate the cost of two Peet's Iced Lattes or one lunch at Panera Bread, we can collectively raise a very easy $1,000 to support the emergency relief efforts.
