Update 1: Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, today our appeal appeared on the BBC Radio Lancashire - (38 Minutes), we continue to appeal to the wider Preston community to come together and assist this campaign.

Our Appeal 

The Bhailok Family are launching an urgent & critical appeal to the wider Preston community, to raise funds for the frontline staff and others that require urgent support and assistance during this Covid-19 crisis.

An initial target of £1,000,000 (One Million Pounds) has been set, which will be used to support NHS staff across the hospital and others as required. We are working closely with NHS staff on the frontline to ascertain their needs and requirements to help navigate and assist them through this crisis. 

The Bhailok Family have pledged £100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Pounds) to kickstart the campaign. We urge the City of Preston to show by example, our strong community spirit and togetherness during this time of crisis, and help in any capacity they may be able to assist, to help raise awareness or funds to provide the crucial support with our health service needs.

The funds being raised will be used to provide support for frontline staff, provide food and medical supplies, medical safety and PPE equipment, other assistance as the needs arise and other Equipment as is required.

Why does the NHS need our help?

Government supports all of our healthcare in the UK and we are lucky to have the NHS.  However, in times of emergency, it can fall upon the public and well-wishers of the NHS and other public services to help it through a crisis.  This is similar to supporting flood victims in Northern England or the homeless in Greater Manchester. The NHS needs our support to keep going during rare times like this. By coming to the assistance of the NHS and its staff ensures it remains part of our national fabric for our future generations.
