My name is Sara I'm the founder of NORAK. I created this product to help enhance my children's bedtime routine and give them something that holds true to our Islamic identity, as well as giving me the freedom to be in control my children’s bedtime routine. In a world filled with technology it can sometimes feel like everything around us is chosen for us before we even get given a choice.

When I was looking for night-lights for my son to help him get to sleep at night all I could find was the same generic moons and stars with pre-installed musical lullabies. I believe that the Quran is our light in this world and so it’s important to be able to share that with our children as soon as we can. With NORAK you can choose what you listen to, and if you take a look at our perks you can get one of the first ever NORAKs to be made with a micro-SD card pre-loaded with Quran for you to listen to. 

Although NORAK was designed with children in mind, it's also a beautifully timless classic addition to the home. It's a piece of art / technology that is interchangable between generations. From babies to grandparents were confident this is a gift to give or keep.

• USB re-chargeable battery - (this last up to 8 hours when charged USB cable included) you can plug your cable into your PC or USB mains charger to charge. 
• Colour changing LED lights - easily choose which colour light to set the atmosphere. You have a choice of dim white light, bright white light or multi-coloured changing lights.

We need to raise $50,000 to help us with the initial startup production costs for NORAK.

Getting a product like this to manufacturing can be extremely costly. Creating moulds, and designing electronic components to fit inside, making sure that absolutely everything is safe and to the highest of quality before we send it to you.

Right now we have our first proto-type of NORAK and the next stage is getting it to manufacturing, this is why we’ve setup this campaign. Without you and your continue support none of this would be possible.

We need to place at least a minimum order of 1000 pieces in order to go to manufacturing. Once we get our first mass production order InshAllah we’ll be working hard to get this out far and wide to help encourage the learning and memorisation of Quran and just to spread some more of our beautiful culture with the rest of the world.
