We are now living in a strange time - the world is faced with a great disruption and Muslims throughout the world are dealing with the effects the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite this, Islamic cultural, spiritual and theological dimensions offer us as Muslims, a multitude of ways to cope.  Ramadan is a blessing which is upon us, a month of giving and one of the five pillars of Islam, a very special month as the Quran was revealed to the Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) during Ramadan. And, during this blessed month, we are given an opportunity to pause and reflect, and really think about what is important, and what is going on around us.

At Palmers Green Mosque, we are pleased to announce a number of programmed activities and services during this blessed month of Ramadan. Whilst we are in the midst of an unprecedented time, where a national lockdown coincides with one of the holiest times of the year for our Muslim community, we are doing our best to keep our congregation spiritually engaged and connected with our mosque via a schedule of online and remote resources.

In order to keep our services such as these up and running, we would welcome donations to the mosque, to enable the smooth and effective running of activities both currently, as well as after the lockdown has expired, in sha Allah.

We really miss our community’s presence and not being able to physically host the regular prayers, iftar, lectures and tarawih prayers whilst our doors are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We pray that Allah (SWT) blesses our Ummah and the country to overcome this testing time.
