In honor of #GivingTuesday, we are aiming to raise as much money as we can in 24 hours to have a shot at winning a $20,000 prize from Launchgood! Here's how it works:
Penny Appeal will receive an additional $20,000 from Launchgood if we raise the most amount of money or have the most amount of donors in a single day. With your support, we believe we can raise at least $25,000 on #GivingTuesday and blow the competition out of the water.
We've developed a reputation for tackling some of the largest domestic and global challenges to date. In order to continue on our mission, we need donations to help fund our general, domestic, and international programs and operations. Your money will go towards the sustainment and launch of our 2019 programs, whether it be empowering women in The Gambia through more sustainable crops or providing essential educational supplies to inner city children here in the US.
Because today, your money is worth double than any other day! If we raise $25,000 today and win $20,000 from Launchgood, that could make your donation count at nearly double the original amount. How great is that! On what other day does your donation double? Only on #GivingTuesday.
Stories of our beneficiaries drive us to continue to make change across communities. Ansar and Kalsoom are beneficiaries from our income generation program in Pakistan. Ansar and Kalsoom Bibi were one of the many families in Pakistan that benefitted from our income generation program. Penny Appeal USA went to an impoverished village and provided 80 rural poor women with a pregnant goat which provides them meat, milk, wool, and more. Through this program, they are now educated in rural farming, raising livestock, and have value in trading with their local markets.
