What is PFP?

Peaceful Families Project (PFP) is a national organization with international reach devoted to ending domestic violence in Muslim families by facilitating awareness workshops for Muslim leaders and communities, providing cultural sensitivity trainings for professionals, conducting research and developing resources.

PFP Imam Training

Our imams work tirelessly to serve our communities, going above and beyond any job description. Yet, rarely do they have training opportunities to increase their knowledge and expertise in fostering peaceful Muslim families. Since our imams play the important role of being the first person a community member turns to for help when s/he experiences violence, they need more training to help equip them to address this issue. PFP is honored to be able to provide this service for imams from all around the nation.

PFP provides comprehensive domestic violence Imam Trainings.  We have recieved 100% postive feedback from past attendees who found the training helpful and are utilizing what they learned to address domestic violence issues in their communities. 

We combine the examples of the Quran and Sunnah with clinical expertise to empower and educate imams. They are among the most influencial community leaders with the capacity to educate our communities about domestic violence, and to help victims and perpretrators.
