Helping The Rohingya Refugees Children Through Education.
Last year, on October 2017, when the massive exodus of Rohingya from Tula Toli occurred due to rampant violence caused by the Myanmar army ― we were there at the outskirt of Balukali and Teknaf river witnessing the tragic moment that is hard to describe. Innocent children are the most affected by this unforeseen circumstances.
We see children taking care of children. Became orphan at such young age, survive and work in the forest to make sure there's something to eat for their family, running away from one place to another, bag for foods and drinks. No kids deserve such situation and such calamity.
The story of Anas Mustafa
We've met Anas with his grandmom when we were at sector C of Balukali camp distributing the aids from the generous Malaysian. His story is so heartbreaking that we managed to film it with permission. I share the pieces here:

Seeing Anas survived with many other children in this refugee's camp, seeing them mature before their age, seeing them sacrificing their youth ― had made us resolved that, the only way we can set these children free from this shackle and help to secure their future is through education. By educating the kids we can empower them, empowering means helping them break the cycle of slavery and oppressed and create a better future for generations to come.
Long they have been denied the right to school and the right to have a better education. It is time we work together to help the future generation of Rohingya to be well educated and get the schooling experience like many other kids in our country
The effort has to start now, as a group of professional Engineers working in this field we want to construct the best school facility, if not the best at least the better infrastructure set up for the children. So not just the wealthiest children get the chance to go to the best school; we want the Rohingya refugee's children also have an equitable opportunity by studying in the best school or at least a better one.

I've had a pleasure talking to this grandfather (in the pic). I asked him, "Are there anything else that I can do to help you, sir? He replied, "I'm worried of the fate of my two grandchildren, they don't go to school and they are not educated. Knowing the possibility that the persecuted Rohingya refugees shall be deported back to Myanmar and/or maybe to another deserted island, MYREF together with NRS Relief had come out with a fully functional school that is portable and modular. We opt for this school model so it can be stored and brought to any possible location desired.

The latrine will nurture the hygienic practice and prevent open defecation that was so common around the refugees camp. You have contributed towards 1) Prevention of communicable disease 2) providing a lifetime of clean water supply for 1000 beneficiaries.

Teachers are selected among the refugees and local Bangladeshi - received training from the UNESCO prior to teaching.
