Assalaam alaikum. Ramadhan kareem. Praise and thanks be to Allah for having brought us this far. May He accept and generously reward you for your kindness and good deeds in this month. Ameen.
We need your help to provide iftar and Eid meals for New Midland Islamic Orphanage and Primary School at Luwero, Uganda. The center is home to about 450 children. Thirty of them are HIV positive after being born to HIV positive parents.
We estimate expenditure of 1 US Dollar per child per day, making it 500 USD per day.
The center depends on donations from the public. Due to the restrictions following COVID19, all congregational prayers in the mosques have been suspended, leading to a drastic reduction of income for the orphanage.

The movement restrictions imposed by the government to control the spread of Covid19 have left the orphanage with limited sources of income and on the brink of starvation.
This Ramadhan would have been really difficult for them without your support. The prices of food and other necessities have significantly increased during the lockdown period due to difficulties in transportation and getting access to imported items like sugar, cooking oil and rice.
Alhamdulillah, with the support of our donors on Launchgood as well as offline donors, we have been able to provide food for the children. May Allah bless you.

New Midland Islamic Orphanage and Primary School is located about 60 kilometres north of Kampala Uganda. It is home to 450 children, 120 of whom are total orphans without a father an mothers while 180 have only mothers and no fathers. Another 50 children are children of new reverts to Islam who have no place and means to raise them as Muslims. The children are aged between 3 and 18 years.

With your contribution we were able to feed the orphans throughout Ramadhan and prepare for them a memorable Eid feast.
