There are over 800,000 Rohingya Refugees living in Bangladesh. They were forced to flee theirs because of the massacre that unfolded in their homeland of Myanmar (Burma).
Islamic Help has
been working tirelessly with the Rohingya Refugees and we have
increased our efforts in the past 2 years. We've built shelters and
provide life-saving aid, but now, we need your help to deliver water!
Right
now, we have 3 gigantic water tankers in the Rohingya Refugees camps
that drive around all day distributing clean, safe, drinking water.
Every day, each of our water tankers distributes a total of 20,000 litres of water which benefits 5,000 people! However
there is a problem, the funding for these water tankers is about to run
out. If this happens, we will be forced to stop distributing the clean,
safe, water that we do every day to thousands of Rohingya Refugees.
You can help us, you can stop this from happening! It only costs £67 to run the water tanker for one day. If you donate £67 and sponsor the water tanker for a day, we will be able to provide 5,000 Rohingya Refugees with water!
It
will cost us £24,000 to run the water tanker for the year so once
you've made your generous donation, please ask your friends and family
to do the same. This is a brilliant opportunity for Sadaqah Jariyah on behalf of a loved one.
