Qadam Community School: Where Kids Dream BIG!

In March of 2016, we took a small ‘Qadam’ (step) to establish a school in heart of Green Town; a neighborhood inhabited by diverse cultural and religious groups, who form the lowest economic echelon of society. The school currently hosts 40 students at elementary level. We want to impact our students from basic level so they are fashioned to think creatively and individually from the beginning. The school has three full time female teachers who are trained by DEA to create a conducive environment for students.

Your donations will hep us cover basic costs for our school, which charges only a partial fees of $1/month to some students who can afford it. It will enable us to equip our class room with audio/visual aides, and setting up an activity room, which will improve the learning outcomes of our students.

Help Neeha and her friends access their right to education 

Female education has been on our agenda since the beginning in 2011. We want to ensure 0 female drop out rate from our school. We intend to use the space as community center as well where  we can discuss the social issues that affect the lives of our students and women close to them. Specially the issues pertaining to gender discrimination, which result in high female dropout rate, domestic violence and forced marriages at young age.

The best form of happiness is when you bring happiness to someone else.
