On Thursday May 17th, Asher Majeed and his 5th grade classmates of Paramus East Brook Middle School were traveling to Waterloo Village for their field trip. Tragically, the bus never made it to the destination and crashed. This horrific accident was so destructive that it was a worldwide trending topic and flags throughout New Jersey were directed to fly at half-staff. Asher remains in the intensive Pediatric care unit with severe head trauma, facial lacerations and multiple fractures.
This horrifying event has left our community completely devastated and heart broken. But the emotional toll on Asher’s family has been unimaginable. The road to recovery will be a very long and difficult, but we know that Asher is a strong and determined young boy. Therefore, we are reaching out to everyone to help raise the necessary funds for the Majeed family during this most difficult time of need.
