Book A Muslim is the first professional agency to represent diverse Muslim speakers, artists, and performers. We make it easy for you to find the right speaker/artist for your event ranging from MSA Discover Islam Week or Masjid fundraising dinners, to community interfaith panels and college and university diversity efforts. It is easy to book a Muslim for your event! Why Book A Muslim?

We saw the need for Book A Muslim when we were student leaders on our campus activities board in college. Administrators wanted to know more about trends in the media with anti-Muslim rhetoric, and get to hear real American Muslim experiences and include them in conversations that celebrate diversity, but they didn't know how to find them. We believe it is time for colleges and universities to initiate the conversation and give a platform to American Muslim voices. 

We also believe that having the Muslim voices heard on campus, helps get rid of negative stereotypes created by the media, and gives the American public easier access to talk to their friends and neighbors about being Muslim and what Islam is really about. 

Where is Book A Muslim?

Colleges value diversity and are working to create inclusive events and programs; however, they may not always know where to find engaging and trustworthy Muslim speakers/performers until now!

 We want to attend the following conferences and need your help:

• National Association of Campus Activities (7 regional conferences, and one national conference)
• Association for Promotion of Campus Activities (4 regional conferences)
• National Conference on Race and Ethnicity
• and more! 

Registration fees= $300 each conference 

Booth fees= $300 each conference 

Artist/speaker showcase fee= $390 each conference

Travel= $300-$500 each conference 

Annual Membership fees= $800

Promotional items/materials= $1000

Website and Email services= $99/ year

How You Can Help

Our business model will allow us to be self-sustainable in the future, but this first year we need your help! By attending the conferences listed above, we will be able to build our reputation and connect with the crucial college administrators who can spread the word about our roster. 

But it's not all about promoting the business. It is about sharing the truth about our beautiful faith with others. As the Prophet Muhammad said, "If Allah guides a person through you, its better for you than all that is on earth” (Bukhari and Muslim)
