Many medical facilities have been targeted while others are shut down to protect staff and patients.

Salam, we hope this message finds you in the best of health. As many of you know the situation in Idlib has gotten worse. Since April 28, at least 892 civilians were killed and over 1912 were wounded, almost half of the victims are children. At least 50 medical facilities were targeted and attacked, leaving hundreds of thousands with no access to medical care. 

Today is the last day to support  this campaign. Please give so we can continue to provide medical care to those who need it most!

The image below shows newborn babies being evacuated after an attack on the Iman Maternity hospital they were just born in, they were still in incubators. 

UOSSM has been working tirelessly to meet the needs of the newly displaced by operating more mobile clinics in areas of displacement and providing medical services to those who need it most. It is estimated that at least 750,000 were recently displaced, many with nowhere to go living under olive trees.

The image below went viral as big sister Reham, buried under the rubble tried to save her baby sister from falling. Unfortunately she died as the building collapsed. The children of Syria have had to endure so much.

Salam- Ramadan Kareem. Peace and blessings to you in this blessed month.

As you read this message the people in Idlib are suffering immensely. They are under attack...At least 160 have been killed and at least 600 were wounded. A large number of those casualties are women and children. As of today, 19 medical facilities were targeted and put out of service. According to our sources on the ground, the bombardment has forced over 350,000 to flee the violence. They have nowhere to turn so at least 20% of those displaced are living under the olive trees. They are deprived of food, water, basic sanitation and medical care. See video here.

Haneen and Farah were 2 sisters that were wounded by airstrikes in October 2016, their mother thought they would never walk again.

UOSSM USA would like to thank you for your support, we truly wouldn’t be able to do what we do without you. Together, we have accomplished so much! Together we obtained support to launch UOSSM USA’s Medical Mobile Unit. This mobile clinic has the potential to provide medical care to an estimated 19,000 internally displaced people in southern Syria, in an area that had no previous access to medical care.
