We need donations to continue providing community support and emergency clothing packs to Muslim women in need, free of charge.

The Hijab Collective was founded in Oct 2017 by an Australian Muslim revert. She started the Hijab Collective because of the lack of community services for Muslim women. In particular, access to free modest clothing, prayer clothes and hijabs. The initiative is run completely from her home in Sydney and until now has been financially supported by herself. However, as a mother of 2 young children and a small business owner this level of financial commitment isn't viable over the long term. 

Our campaign goal will keep The Hijab Collective operational throughout 2019. By donating, you are directly keeping our initiative alive for another year so we can continue supporting Muslim women in our community with community programs and modest clothing, at no cost to them.

The Hijab Collective focuses on providing assistance to sisters that may be:

* Facing financial hardship;

* Revert sisters that need help converting to a modest wardrobe;

* Newly arrived migrants; 

* Refugees in detention centres; and 

* Escaping domestic violence. 

The Hijab Collective also organises gift vouchers for sisters to purchase new clothing if we are unable to provide suitable options from 2nd hand clothing donations, and providing funds are available. 

Your donation will help us:

* Post clothing/hijab donations to women outside of our local delivery radius (via Australia Post);

* Assist with running costs;

* Create and launch community events that are in line with our organisational goal of supporting the needs of vulnerable Muslim women. 

* Have funds available in order to provide gift cards to sisters that require emergency assistance.
