We are executing a project to contribute to the much-needed conservation effort of the natural ecosystems and biodiversity as well as the rural landscape, culture and heritage in the area of Rohingya refugee camp and surrounding districts.

We have already started the plantation from June'19. More than 1,600 fruits trees are planted in our orphanage area. 

Under this program, we are going to improve the standard of living and quality of life of the underprivileged community by empowering them with basic entrepreneurial skills.

1. Our 5 orphanages are executing this project. this orphanage have land ripe for tree planting in the subcontinent. 

2. We are building an irrigation system and secure a supply of fertilizer. 

3. We will train the faculty, staff, and children at the orphanage on taking care of the trees.

4. Manage the marketing and sale of the fruit to pay for the orphanage’s maintenance and the children’s room, board, education, and healthcare

First and foremost, this project seeks to improve the ability of an orphanage to care for its children by establishing an additional source of revenue. Next, the trees will bring beauty, shade, and nourishment to the land and to the people near it. 

We estimate the cost of 1 tree to be $10, all inclusive from planting, to maintenance (soil, water, fertilizer), to training caretakers and managing fruit sales. The Bidyanondo Foundation will provide additional funds. Who are we?

Specialized on supporting Refugees (website: bidyanondo.org). We distributed more than 1 million lunch box, 10,000 warm clothes. We have established school for 300 Refugee camp. We also work for Joel Nafuma Refugee Center in Roma, Italy. In Bangladesh, we have 12 schools, 4 Orphanages and 4 Libraries.

How your money will be spent?

62% money is going to be spent for purchasing plants and land preparation. Then major fund for training the resource and maintain the garden. 15% is going to be spent for fund raising activity. 

External Audit:

For Financial transparency, we do external audit by one of the most accepted audit firm ACNABIN Bangladesh. Although audit is not obligatory for voluntary organization in Bangladesh, we want to be transparent for donors. You can see that Admin and management cost is close to zero.
