About This Campaign

Jummah Grants helps mosques get into the habit of weekly fundraising online as the world moves towards a digital age. The grants are intended to help small masjids cover their monthly running costs. Grants are used as a match-donation style grant to support Masjids efforts in raising funds.

We want to support our mosques during this time of economic uncertainty. We’ve put together a package of support, including help setting up fundraising pages, allowing your mosque to collect funds safely from your congregation and the wider community. You’ve always been there for us, now it’s our opportunity to give back as we face COVID-19, together. 

Where Will Donations Go?

Donations will be added to a pot of funds used to provide Jummah grants to participating mosques. The idea behind the scheme is to help small mosques in the UK to stay afloat during these testing times. 

With the support of Penny Appeal, Mercy Mission and other fantastic partners, the #SupportOurMosques campaign will be providing weekly Jummah grants of up to £1,000 to small mosques in the UK with a turnover of less than £250,000 per year, to help them cover their costs during lockdown.
