Alhamdulillah, Phase 1 of the current construction project (foundation slab) is almost complete and now we need the funds to complete the construction of the building! Valley Ranch Islamic Center is located in Irving, Texas. Its location puts it in the center of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and it serves the Muslim communities of Valley Ranch, Las Colinas and Coppell, along with other neighboring cities. VRIC provides several services including, but not limited to, five daily prayers, Friday prayer, study groups (halaqas), Ramadan programs (taraweeh and weekend iftars), weekday and weekend Qur’anic school, and a medical clinic.

Our community has grown exponentially, and we have now outgrown our current facility. We are looking to build a new home for VRIC which can
accommodate various parallel activities/events for our youth, women, and
 men.

WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT VRIC?

We believe the masjid should go beyond just a house of worship. We want everyone to consider the masjid as their home. We are blessed to have Shaykh Yaser Birjas and Shaykh Omar Suleiman as our resident scholars and we want the new masjid to carry out their vision of the masjid, a welcoming place, a place where people feel comfortable, a place men, women and youth of all ages feel like they belong.

WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?

The Prophet (saw) said, “Whoever builds a Masjid, seeking the pleasure of ALLAH, ALLAH shall build a house for him in Paradise .” [Bukhari].

“Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over?” [2:245]
