EARLY VOTING INITIATIVE!

In many States you can only vote on the First Tuesday in November. Why? There are Elected State Legislators, in Virginia, who do not want to increase the voting population in order to retain their Elected Positions. The New America Action Committee will work to Elect Virginia Assembly Members who Support Early Voting!

LET'S MAKE EARLY VOTING A RIGHT!

[In our busy lives, some of us can not exercise our right to vote on a single day.  By establishing Early Voting in Virginia, we will Increase the Voter Participation Level.  With this initiative,  Virginians' will have the opportunity to cast their votes within a 21 day period for General Elections and a 5 day period for all Local and Primary Elections.

BUILDING A POLITICAL MOVEMENT!

New America is building a Grassroots Organization in an effort to change the voting process in Virginia.  Voting Laws are enacted by the Virginia General Assembly.  Republicans control Both Houses of the General Assembly: Senate 21-19 and the House of Delegates 66-34. Democrats introduced Legislation, in Both Houses, to Enact Early Voting in the General Assembly Session that ended on February 25 2017. Republicans Voted Against the Legislation.  The Entire Virginia General Assembly House of Delegates will be Elected on November 7 2017.  New America is developing a Strategy to Elect Senators and Delegates who Support Early Voting!

Let me share some information about myself.  I am a Norfolk Virginia native and a product of the Norfolk Public School System.  I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia State University.  The combative state of our Political System has aroused me to become involved.
