In Pittsburgh, we have unified under the message that we are Stronger Than Hate following the Tree of Life shooting that left 11 Jewish community members dead on October 27, 2018. These attacks do not have to happen, we can do more to stop hate while simultaneously working to make sure our places of worship remain sacred and safe. ​Let’s come together as one – one world, one community, one family – to end Islamaphobia and Anti-Semitism and all hate, in any form it takes. Racism, prejudice, and bias against any of our neighbors is a threat to all of us.

There is a direct correlation between mosques that are threatened with mosques that are more vocal and visible in their communities. ICP is on the forefront in the fight for justice, especially within the past four years, which has mirrored a spike in white supremacy and anti-Muslim violence.
