Who is It For?

Quran Era is specially designed for non-native Arabic speaking children aged 4 through 12. It is the most comprehensive and engaging online program to learn how to read the Quran!

What is So Unique about Quran Era?

The Arabic letters are symbols that can be very abstract for young children. The more abstract learning is, the less is understood and remembered. 

For that reason, Quran Era, unlike other Quran teaching programs, uses animals and real-world objects in the shapes of the letters to aid memory and retention; and each animal character has a name and a story behind them. This concrete approach cements the sounds to the shapes of the letters.

Our Story

Assalamu alaikum.

I am Nadir, the lucky father of four beautiful children, alhamdulillah. I am a qualified teacher and passionate educator from Melbourne, Australia. I have been teaching Quran for more than 10 years. It is not an easy task to teach kids Quran, especially now, in the digital age. 

First Steps

Five years ago, I started teaching my son to read the Quran. I knew I was going to face the same problems as mentioned above. I knew my child needed a new and modernized approach to learning the Quran that is creative, engaging, and fun. Various Quran apps offered little help, as they lacked creativity and were not comprehensive.

Seeking help from the Almighty, I embarked on a mission to find a solution. Soon after, “baby concept” was born. I used it with my son, and it worked brilliantly, alhamdulillah. He began to enjoy our Quran lessons and in no time, he became a proficient reader of Quran. It was a success. 

Through consulting with a number of professional educators and Islamic Scholars the “baby concept” was then developed into a real project. With the prayers and support of my family and friends, two years ago we laid the first stone for the Quran Era.                                 

Field-tested

Quran Era’s unique teaching method was field-tested with a small group of kids, and later with a bigger group at an Islamic School in a classroom setting. It worked perfectly, alhamdulillah. Not only did it increased the kids’ interest and motivation to learn Quran, but also made them grasp the concepts easily and retain them for long. Parents’ feedback was very positive. It was another success story.

Quran Era Progress

It is not easy to build such a big and comprehensive platform from scratch. We have invested 100s of hours and $10 000s in this project. 

The content of the program is divided into five levels of learning. So far, we have almost completed the first level, where kids learn the isolated forms of all the Arabic letters with one vowel. They also learn the correct pronunciation of the Arabic letters and master reading basic Arabic words. 

Level 1 has over 100 activities, games and animated stories. The length of the animations exceeds 100 minutes when combined.  

We want to launch Quran Era with Level 1 to get your feedback and improve our content in shaa Allah. 

However, we have other four levels that need to be created and we need your support to be able to do this. 

Campaign goals

In shaa Allah in Summer, 2020 Quran Era, Level 1 will be launched on a web platform. Kids will be able to access it from any device.

Quran Era, Level 2 will be launched, where you kids learn joining the Arabic letters, prolonging (Alif Maddiya) and master reading Arabic words with prolongation. Level 2 will have over 100 activities, games and animations iA.

$70,000

Quran Era, Level 3 will be launched, where you kids learn the other two vowels, prolonging (waw and ya maddiya) and master reading Arabic words with three vowels and prolongation. Level 3 will have over 100 activities, games and animations iA.

$110,000

Quran Era, Level 4 will be launched, where you kids learn basic Tajweed rules and master reading Arabic words and partial verses from the Quran. Level 4 will have over 75 activities, games and animations iA.

$150.000

Quran Era, Level 5, the last level will be launched, where you kids further learn the Tajweed rules and master reading partial Quranic verses. Level 5 will have over 75 activities, games and animations iA.
