We are writing with an exciting update. We have a group of donors in Santa Barbara who have been so inspired by this LaunchGood campaign that they are willing to match up to $500,000 dollars in donations. 

For every $100,000 we can raise this group of donors will match $100,000 instantly. That means if we can raise just $12,295.00 that every dollar each of you has given will be instantly matched and we will have raised $200,000. 

This is a real opportunity to turn the tragedy of our mosque burning down into a community triumph.

We wanted to thank each and every one of you for your donations to help us rebuild and to help us fulfill our vision in building a permanent Mosque home in Santa Barbara. Here is a special message from our Imam, Imam Yama Niazi from inside the burned out space that use to house our mosque. 

Some of us have been working for more than 30 years to build a permanent Mosque home in Santa Barbara, but with a community, with only a couple hundred Muslims that dream has been hard for us to reach. 

In all these years we have worked to build our new mosque we have never felt as much hope as we have over the last week with over 1200 donors and $60,000 raised from throughout the world, and across faith communities.
