SMILE is a non-profit organization that attempts to help the underprivileged members of our community. We work with everyone from Syrian refugees, to domestic violence victims, to widowed mothers and wives. We have launched the Rose for Ramadan Campaign supporting Muslim families in need across New Jersey with basic foods during the month of Ramadan. Over the past several years we have helped over 500 families. This year we plan to provide 300 families with Ramadan boxes.

SMILE is a non-profit organization that attempts to help the underprivileged members of our community. We work with everyone from refugees, to domestic violence victims, to widowed mothers and wives.

Our most prominent program is our food pantry that offers access to healthy food out of our Passaic, NJ office. Additionally, our Zakat Inspired fund offers one-time assistance to Muslim members of the community that are struggling to get on their feet. SMILE's main mission is to spread the wealth and help our struggling community members at home. We're in the business of spreading SMILES =)

Rose for Ramadan Campaign 

Rose for Ramadan provides Muslim families in need across New Jersey with basic foods during the month of Ramadan. Over the past several years we have helped over 500 families. This year we plan to provide 300 families with Ramadan boxes.
Boxes contain Ramadan essentials like olive oil, dates, rice, honey, canned goods, a voucher for halal meat, and other items.

How it Works: 

STEP 1 - Submit Campaign for Review: Participating individuals or teams need to create a campaign on LaunchGood.com/smile and submit for review. When creating the campaign, they should make sure to SMILE as a community page to their campaign.

 

STEP 2 - LaunchGood Review:  In 24-48 hours, the LaunchGood team will assign a project coach to provide feedback and discuss best practices before launching.

 

STEP 3 - Project Goes Live! Start crowdfunding! LaunchGood will provide crowdfunding coaching support throughout the fundraising process.

 

STEP 4 - Campaign Ends: LaunchGood sends funds raised directly to the SMILE team.
