​AI for Perfecting Quran Recitation

Tarteel is a project that uses AI to perform speech recognition and correction of ordinary people's Quran recitation. Try the demo: https://tarteel.io/

The project is under active development and funds will contribute to getting our product out faster and reaching more people. 

​How Does It Work?

Tarteel uses voice recognition to correct your hifz (memorization) and tajweed (phonetic) mistakes. Our machine learning algorithms use state-of-art technologies, similar to those used with Google Assistant and Alexa.

​Who's Behind It?

Tarteel is being built by a team of MIT and Stanford alums and engineers from Google, Twitter, and Tesla. We also have a growing team of 20+ volunteers to help us insha'Allah reach 1M households!
