Support VibeArt: A Studio for Uyghur Art and Culture in Almaty

The Uyghur Collective is proud to support an inspiring new initiative by one of our brightest emerging artists, Dilshat Aripov. Dilshat has long been active in the Uyghur community, dedicating his time and talents not only to art but also to raising awareness of Uyghur culture, politics, and history. From his work in Uyghur activism to his efforts to unite and uplift our people, Dilshat has already made an incredible impact. Now, he’s ready to take the next step in his journey by opening VibeArt, a unique studio that will celebrate and preserve Uyghur artistic heritage.

Meet Dilshat Aripov: An Artist for His Community

Dilshat is a passionate and exceptionally talented young artist, and his work has been showcased in many places, from Central Asia to Canada to the UK. Driven by a deep love for Uyghur culture and an unwavering commitment to his people, Dilshat envisions VibeArt as more than a studio—it’s a place where the Uyghur community in Almaty and beyond can come together to create, learn, and grow.

A note from Dilshat:

I’m Dilshat Aripov, an Uyghur artist from Kazakhstan. I am a member of the Union of Young Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan. I work as an artist, graphic artist, and poet. I will be very grateful for your help in realizing my idea and dream. Everything I do will be for the good and development of the next generation. There is no such school yet where Uyghur painting is taught, and I want to be the first to do it for our society. I want to open an educational center where I can teach and attract children and adults to the Uyghur art of painting. I want to raise art in our nation, and I have never seen such a center where they teach such things. This will allow children to learn more about their culture, about Uyghur art, and show appreciation for their people, country, and heritage.

What VibeArt Will Offer

At VibeArt, Dilshat will provide hands-on training in painting, drawing, sculpture, decorative and applied art, and composition, guiding students on their paths to becoming artists. This is the first of its kind for Uyghur artists in Kazakhstan. He also plans to host:

• Master Classes with Uyghur artists from Kazakhstan
• Student focus to help with admissions into art schools, colleges, and universities
• Art History Sessions to deepen appreciation of both Uyghur and global art
• Psychology & Philosophy Evenings for inspiration and introspection
• Exhibitions and movie nights to foster community connections

In this space, Dilshat will offer a sanctuary for creative expression and cultural celebration, welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds. VibeArt will be decorated with traditional Uyghur fair to create a truly immersive cultural experience.
