This Ramadan, the Muslim Students' Association (MSA) is partnering with Rahma Worldwide to support our brothers and sisters in Palestine. The situation they face is heart-wrenching, but with your support, we can make a real, tangible difference in their lives.

The Impact:

This year, you’re not only participating in one of the biggest campaigns on the UM-Dearborn campus, but you’re also directly helping combat hunger. Last year, MSA raised over $12,000 for charity, and we aim to do even more this year!

Fast-a-thon Goals:

• Raise awareness about hunger issues around the world, with a special focus on the Detroit metro area.
• Combat hunger by raising funds for local, regional, and international charities addressing hunger.
• 100% of proceeds from this campaign will go directly to Rahma Worldwide for aid in Gaza.

What is Fast-a-thon?

The Fast-a-thon is a long-standing MSA tradition designed to unite students for a philanthropic cause. By participating, you’re not only sacrificing for the less fortunate, but you’ll also experience the fulfillment of fasting for a cause. The Fast-a-thon concept is inspired by the Islamic tradition of fasting, which involves refraining from food and drink from sunrise to sunset.

The MSA, a student-run organization on the University of Michigan - Dearborn campus, strives to bridge the gap between Muslim and non-Muslim communities. This campaign is a way to unite all individuals for a greater purpose.

Why Act Now?

Ramadan is a month of mercy, a time when our good deeds are magnified. By donating during this blessed month, you not only provide urgent aid but also earn multiplied rewards. Here’s how your contribution can make a difference:

• $100 provides food for an entire family for a month.
• $250 supports an orphan with care and resources for several months.
• $1,000 provides shelter, food, medical supplies, and warmth for a family in need.
