Among the world’s countries suffering from the current global hunger crisis, Ethiopia is ranked by the World Food Programme (WFP) as the third most affected. According to the WFP, 14 to 15 million Ethiopians (13% - 14% of the country's population) are experiencing severe food insecurity.1

The ripple effect of the war in Ukraine is set to exacerbate Ethiopia’s food security crisis.

Last  Ramadan, we organized daily Iftar and Suhoor and Alhamdulliah we were able to feed over 2,000 families. 

This year our goal is to feed 3000 families, Inshallah 

For only $135 you can feed a family an Iftar and Suhoor meal on a daily basis 

That is less than $4.50 per family per day 

It is a great act of charity and one that will be rewarded with Allah's mercy. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever feeds a person who is hungry will have his sins forgiven.”.
