#ZAKAT: TO GIVE WITHOUT PERSONAL RETURN. HAPPY RAMADAN.

OH, EVER LIVING, THE EVERLASTING, WE SEEK YOUR HELP THROUGH YOUR MERCY.
Remember #Zakat and be blessed. No race of people need help more than African people who have been exploited as slaves and their continent yet raped of resources. In America many other groups benefit with selling  cheap products in African-American communities: many Black communities consume products from all people without prejudice.
The obligatory charities (Zakat, Sadaqatul Fitr and the Qurbani for

those with sufficient wealth), but also optional charity to good causes.   The prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Charity does not reduce wealth it is a blessing to give.

This is one school we have in Tanzania. The children are learning about about shapes. These children speak ki-swahili, and we have a  strong English program. We have many Muslim children but teach all children-education for all even those with learning disabilities. We are happy today that these children love to learn and learn together in peace!  Education will help make a better future for families on the continent of Africa: a Gateway Goal- educate to liberate. Gateway 26, supports feeding women and children and providing education and welfare services and currently working holistically in Africa in Tanzania.  We need more support to secure the building and complete the road.

MANY of the children and their families fromthe schools joined us in breaking the fast with our free community Juma meal, the first Juma of Ramadan..

BARAKA-SHARING....... RAMADAN MUBARAK!    BARAKA-SHARING

A FREE MEAL A DAY FOR THE URBAN POOR IN AFRICA.

THE FIRST JUMA OF RAMADHAN, FREE FOOD AND BREAK-FAST FOR THE COMMUNITY. OUR DUTY TO SERVE:

OH, EVER LIVING, THE EVERLASTING, WE SEEK YOUR HELP THROUGH YOUR MERCY.

A FREE MEAL A DAY FOR THE URBAN POOR IN AFRICA.

“We Welcome the month of Ramadhan, because we believe that by providing charity, Zakat, or doing charitable deeds as our organization does, it ushers in blessings (Baraka ) and helps to erase sins”.

A CALL TO ACTION
TO open a community service center in Tanzania and provide a free meal a day to poor children in the urban area and free literacy for the children who are poor and cannot attend school.

HELP WITH SECURING THIS FACILITY AND A DAILY FREE SOUP KITCHEN FOR THE POOR IS A GOAL... Please show your concern and share your blessings (Barakah)!

The organization Global Hand Incorporated is 501c3 and charitable and already operates a less centrally located operation in Tanzania and needs to position a station in the urban area to address the poverty condition of women and children and to improve literacy and well-being.

An URGENT CALL TO HELP:

Omar has never been to school, his mother abandoned him due to poverty because she could not care for him. She took him to his father who is also poor and left him there. He is fortunate that his father had shelter and he does not sleep on the streets. Omar begs every day for food. He daily drinks unclean water and left-over food from customers in restaurants. When Omar sees us, he calls out to us for money or food. He is always with a large crowd of other boys of like circumstances. They beg for money or food every day. Since his father cannot provide for him, and neither does he attend school, a daily meal program and literacy assistance would be a great service to humanity.

WITH YOUR HELP: Omar and many other children like him will receive a free daily meal and a chance to catch up with literacy.

The current school in Tanzania operates in the same small town but is more remote, we provide two nourishing meals a day, and a good basic beginning literacy in all subjects. This center serves parents who can afford to pay up to $25 dollars a month and those less priviledged: orphans and single mothers with children. We learned that there is a need to have an urban station because there are many children who are orphans and are very needy. These hungry and thirsty children are often too tired to walk long distances to the more remote school. The sun is also very hot and we find they'd rather remain in the urban area near stores where they can find people to beg for money or food. Their eyes light up when we speak to them about food and education. They do not have the opportunity for  schooling. There is a great need for an urban station to assist more children and families who are hungry and deserve a basic education. This is a great charitable initiative!

THE GOOD NEWS: An urban property has become available where acquiring property is tight. We believe this to be a miracle. $200 dollars a month is asked for rental of a fenced large compound. A small road needs to be dug to access the property and steps built for the children to safely enter the yard for services. This location will not be too far for famished children like Omar and others to walk daily for humanitarian services. But we must act quickly to acquire this property.  With charitable contributions and hard work opening in the urban area to serve children like Omar with the basics (food, water, and ability to learn and do for oneself-literacy) will be a blessing. It is our duty to do whatever we can inshallah for the poor. The organization has done free meals during Ramadhan but understand that this is not enough.

CALL TO ASSIST.......

SECURING THIS FACILITY AND A DAILY FREE SOUP KITCHEN FOR THE POOR IS A GOAL...Being able to build a safe access and road for entry into the property is crucial for the opening. Please show your concern and share your blessings (Barakah)!
UNDERSTANDING POVERTY IN AFRICA:

The current location in Tanzania borders Burundi and Congo, whilst Tanzania and countries in this region are amongst the three poorest nations in the world, according to Global growth standards, Tanzania ranks the 8th poorest of the 195 countries in the world. Although the DRC has abundant natural resources, DRC with its political instability and mis-managed resource crises, ranks the number (1) world poorest. Burundi due to political unrest rank high in poverty as well. Mali and Senegal both majority Muslim countries on our urgent extension list for community service centers also are high on the poverty list amongst nations.

A TIDBIT OF INFORMATION: Did you know that the minerals from DRC drive our telephone and computers in the developed world today?

Developed nations may be technologically superior because of the minerals and resources received from these countries. It is so ironic that children and families in minerally rich countries must live in poverty and illiteracy even though they have land and resources? This is a human problem we know charity and Zakat can tackle.

HOW CAN YOU ASSIST THE POOR and help our charitable organization in an initiative to service the poor with love and peace? Give #ZAKAT! One of our pillars.

YOUR GIVING WILL BE PRIORITIZED IN THESE AREAS:

A NOTE OF CONCERN:

Last year being heartfelt for the many struggles that people suffered globally: forest fires, mud-slides, hurricanes, earthquake, and war that is still prevailing, these catastrophes both natural and man-made cause so much distress, loss of property and life. We pray for all those who had and have such hardship. May God give them the strength to endure and recover!  It is the wish of all who serve in our organization that the lives of children and families globally could be serene and happy: let justice be served! Meanwhile, our children wherever we can serve deserve the basics and a little fun too. Music, Art, recreation, is also needed along with food and literacy. We look forward to putting in some outdoor play equipment in the future! We love to see children smile and cared for.

A GREAT NEED FOR THE DAILY MEAL/e SOUP KITCHEN but also A LITTLE BIT OF FUN FOR THE KIDS IS BEING CONSIDERED FOR THE LARGE YARD IN BOTH COMPOUNDS WHEN FUNDING BECOMES AVAILABLE.

IF extra funds are raised it will be directed to:

  • There will be ongoing cost for daily food and to pay volunteers associated with running the facility. (volunteers must have daily car-fare and food)
  • We also have A Ramadhan agenda in the planning:  On May 10th the first Juma of Ramadhan we will serve free food: open to the community.
  • Supplies and teachers for the literacy program
  • Having on site medical services or health fairs
  • Building a play space (recreational equipment SIMPLE SWING AND SLIDES) in urban and remote schools
  • Music, Art and Entertainment programs in urban and remote schools
