Assalamu alaikum !

We've closed the campaign at 3496 USD as against a target of 5000 USD. Thank you all once again for all your help and support.

Every penny from each of you who contributed was important and every bit moves us one step ahead financially. But beyond that, every penny you chipped in pushes us ten steps emotionally.

The geographical depth of the response, stretching 11 countries across the world - from the US,UK and Canada in the West to the Middle East and India, and all the way to Hong Kong,Singapore and Australia - was the biggest takeaway of the campaign for us. For a team almost entirely based in India, a campaign reaching out to our worldwide networks gathering steam at this level was beyond our expectations, to put it mildly. The shortfall we have will be managed by us. For now, we won't let that impact the work in progress in any manner.

So, talking about the work, the final output of many months of efforts by our team is finally in the press. Yes, the machines are all warmed up and are now slapping the sheets of paper with ink, as dots and blots - all finally shaping up to a visual recreation of a story that happened centuries ago. As soon as it dries, and gets slammed around an edge for that one final thrust on the binding factor, we hope to get it shipped to each of you before the smell escapes the package.

We'll be taking care to ensure than each and every one of you receives your copies ordered. As you receive them, our ears and eyes are all open to listen to the feedback you have on the work. Be it the quality of the drawing, story line, the representation, the background, the paper, the packing - whatever it may be - do let us know what you feel. We take every response seriously, and will work on improving each aspect of this in our upcoming works.

First of all, a heartfelt thanks to each and everyone of you for your support and contribution to this humble venture of Adab Kids Publications. The sheer interest in the upcoming work has boosted our confidence to a very high level, and we are matching it up with a devoted effort in getting out the work in it's best form for our audience.

Over the last few months, as we worked on this story, we’ve becomes students of history ourselves. It’s been a learning experience for us too, intriguing at times, insightful at others, and tragic too at other times. The deeper we get into the stories, the more it fascinates us. The more the fascination, the more the feeling to share this out, in a much easier format, to a much wider audience. 

There’s lots more tales to be told, and lots more works to be brought on the table. We’re embarking on a journey, and along with your help and support, we also look forward to your feedback, criticisms and analyses. Our proof reading rounds are nearing completion, and we hope to have the presses start warming up in two weeks time 😃
