The cost-of-living crisis is affecting us all. Unfortunately, it is having a devastating impact on the lives of people with no recourse to public funds (NRPF). Someone with NRPF is not eligible for most of the government's support mechanisms, e.g., Child Benefits, Housing Benefits, Universal Credit, Disability Living Allowance etc.

Many people with no recourse to public funds live in horrific conditions, often in overcrowded homes. They find themselves exploited by their landlords and subjected to illegal evictions and abuse. Children in NRPF families are going hungry. They are growing up in an environment that causes extreme mental and emotional distress. These children deserve better.

Newham Community Project is helping some of the most deprived people in our community, particularly those with no recourse to the public fund. In the past year, we have helped hundreds of vulnerable families. We have fought for their rights, regularly provided them with food, financial assistance, and helped them overcome mental and emotional challenges. Currently, the demand for our service is overwhelming. Unfortunately, we have limited means. We urgently need your support to continue our work and to ensure that no family or child go hungry in our community.
