Asalamualykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh Dear Community,

Ramadan is approaching very soon. We would like to raise some funds for our operations in this blessed month. May Allah allow all of us to reach Ramadan and reap the blessings of this month! Ameen!

We have a few items that we need some help with:

Storage Container

We would like to create more space inside the masjid. In order to do this we need to get our own storage container. We will store most of the chairs, tables, storage bins and other items in there thus increasing the space inside the masjid for prayers.

Bathroom Repairs

Due to the cold temperatures in December and January, many of the pipes were frozen and broke. We need to repair the bathrooms so they are functioning again to be used in Ramadan.

Heating/Power for Ramadan Tent

This tent will be used like we have been using in the past Ramadan for our daily Iftar and overflow for Taraweeh prayers.  The temperatures are going to be colder now that we are in March so we need to add heaters as well. The heaters are propane based which will have costs towards this. This will also draw a lot of power so our utility bill will go up during this time. 

Improved Sound System for Masjid and Tent

We have already started with improving our microphone setup for the Imam. The next phase is we need to get better speakers both inside the masjid and outside for the tent.  This will be important so that everone can hear the Imam and the beautiful recitation of the Qur'an. This sound system will be used in the future masjid after construction.

Daily Iftar Supplies

We need to purchase dates, utensils, toiletries, paper supplies and other various items to be ready for Iftar.

Extra Security

We have security guards during Jummah every week. In Ramadan we will need them nightly for Iftar and Taraweeh in addition to Jummah.
