At EMO [Erth al-Muṣṭafā Organisation], we have consistently been helping Yemeni refugees, both inside and outside Yemen.
In the blessed days of Dhul Hijjah, we would like to offer a helping hand to the Yemeni Refugees throughout the whole month. These wonderful people are simply the innocent victims of the conflict happening between different parties, that they have no interest in. It could have been you and me in their position, if we were born in their areas.
As we know, Yemen is facing the worst humanitarian crisis in the world. Almost a quarter of their population are local refugees, or what is more known as IDPs [Internally Displaced Persons].
EMO is well aware that we might not be able to change the political instability in the country. However, we are sure - with your support InshāAllāh - that we are able to feed hundreds of people, or even thousands, like what we did in the previous months.
WHO ARE WE AND HOW DO WE HELP
Erth Ul Mustafa is a humanitarian organisation working in South East Asia (Malaysia, Philippines, Cambodia and Singapore) as well as Yemen. We have local staff and volunteers, who work closely with us and who know the villages, the people in need and how to operate in the area. Our founder Imran Angullia also travel to Yemen yearly to help distribute the donations personally and oversee the projects.
In Yemen we have set up a program, that runs throughout the entire year to provide help, primarily in the Hadramawt region. We focus on:
– Milk for children
– Family food packs
– Medical needs
– Clean water
– Emergency relief
– Shelter
– Help with monthly bills
We have a sponsorship-program for families, who receive help every month, these families have no other means to survive, so we help them with their food and bills. Every few months we deliver food packages and milk for a larger number of families. We also make sure to help with medicine and sometimes we pay the cost of operations. A few months ago we paid the operation for a young mother of three children, who would have gone blind if she had not had a special eye operation. 
Our local coordinator on the ground always expresses the deep gratitude and relief the recipients feel, especially the milk for the children is a gift the families welcome with joy.

“‘Believe in Allāh and His Messenger, and spend (in charity) out of the (substance) whereof He has made you heirs. For, those of you who believe and spend (in charity), for them is a great Reward.” (Surah Al-Hadid, 57:7)
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Whoever helps to break the fast of a fasting person (giving food), he will have the same reward as him without decreasing anything from the reward of the fasting person.”
Your donation or zakāt will ensure the needs of families in need for an entire year! And keep in mind that all voluntary donations are recorded and rewarded as obligatory acts in Ramaḍān, while the rewards of paying zakāt in Ramaḍān will be multiplied by 70.

Provide clean water for Muslims in Philippines
MASJID MULAWIN IN BARANGAY MULAWIN, PHILIPPINES
Masjid Mulawin is located at Barangay Mulawin, about 80KM from Zamboanga City, Phillipines. The main source of water for the jema’ah have always been from the rain water. Previously, it was a stable source of water for all the villagers.
However, due to climate change, people are facing more extreme weather. Non rainy days stretch longer and the monsoon is getting rougher.
We often don’t realize that people are facing challenges in simply wanting to do wudhu’ for praying their Jumu’ah prayers. The villagers hope we can prepare the water well for them to fulfill this part of ibadah and their daily routine too such as cooking and cleaning. By providing an automated water well, we will reap the rewards of the villagers doing wudhu, drinking, cooking and everything else from it, inshaAllah.
