Al Isharah makes Islam accessible to the Deaf community. They are a unique organisation that has been providing services for over 14 years now! 

Have you ever wondered how a Deaf person prays? Have you ever wondered how a Deaf person recites the Quran or how a Deaf person understands Islam? 

Al Isharah has been providing services to the Deaf community for over 15 years now! They provide specialist classes for Deaf children, they teach Deaf adults and they are in the process of translating the Quran into British Sign Language. They do this, so like you and I, Deaf people can worship Allah (swt) upon understanding.

• Deaf Marriage service
• Deaf Umrah / Hajj
• Monthly Islamic lectures
• Access to imams & scholars for day-to-day struggles
• Translating the Khutbah into BSL every Friday
• And their most notable project: The BSL Quran Project

An ancient giant of the land, Ben Nevis was once a massive active volcano which exploded and collapsed inwards on itself millions of years ago. At the summit, there is evidence of an explosion in the form of light-coloured granite. The name itself has two translations from the ancient Gaelic language, meaning 'mountain with its head in the clouds'. Thanks to its iconic mist-shrouded peak, or it can also mean 'venomous mountain' – the name can be decided to which translation refers to yourself after you have completed the hike!!

Al Isharah will embark on this journey to conquer this mountain. Walk, jog or run at your own pace whilst absorbing the natural beauty Allah has created for us to share, stare, ponder upon and say  سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّٰ
