Free Islamic Education To Create A Holistic Community

Singapore has an elite educational system, with our strong foundation keeping us at the forefront of various development.

However, even in this ever progressive growing society, there are thousands of Muslim within our community who did not have access to quality Islamic Education. Especially in the areas of Fiqh, Quran Literacy and the Arabic language, and Seerah of the Prophet (pbuh) - due to financial constraints, lack of outreach, and other similar challenges.

Opening of Al-Misbah Academy

In Nov 2015, Al-Misbah Academy Singapore was established with the initial objective of providing FREE Holistic Islamic Programs to educate and enrich our Muslim community. We do this with a professional and systematic approach to convey the universal message through structured English programs catered to various walks of life.

Strategic Partners 

Al-Misbah Academy's unique approach in educating local Muslim community  is by providing  programmes through strategic collaborating partners such as International Islamic University of Malaysia and Arees University from Dallas,Texas. Al-Misbah Academy continuously strives to bring quality Islamic programmes to the local Islamic masses.

Conducive Space  

Al-Misbah Academy operates from its very own conducive premise located in the heart of the Malay Muslim Community, at 118 Joo Chiat Road which can accommodate about 100 students.

3 Special Groups Deserving Your Support!

While Al- Misbah Academy strives to provide Free Islamic Education to the Muslim Community at large, it recognizes 3 groups which requires the community support:

1) Troubled Families 

Al-Misbah Academy provides free counselling sessions for family with crisis with the aim of reconciliation. Ust.Md Ameen and Ust.Md Khalid who are Syariah advisers with IRB Law Firm, assist spouses by mitigating their family issues through free Islamic counseling sessions.

2) Families of Prisoners

Families are torn apart when their loved ones are incarcerated in prison. We at Al-Misbah Academy assist these families by providing free Islamic education  for them. Ust Muhammad Ameen is an experienced prison's volunteer who provides counselling to the inmates for about 10 years.

Similarly, family members are offered Free Islamic programs to support them further.

3) Youths- At- Risk. 

There is an increasing number of Muslim youths falling prey to troubling behaviors such as pregnancy out of wedlock, and other youth delinquencies. We have developed and conducted suitable programs which are engaging for the Muslim youths to provide support and rehabilitation. Ust. Muhammad Ameen,the former Deputy President of PALS (Peace and Love Society), continues to help the youths-at-risk by engaging them.

Having worked with these 3 special groups and also understanding the challenges faced by the Community at large, Al-Misbah Academy is determined to reach its goal of impacting 1000 more lives with Free Counselling Sessions and Islamic Education.
