Women of all ages, from all walks of life, all over the world have a desire to learn and know more about their beautiful faith, Islam. Dar al Zahra needs your help to continue to bring it to them.

Dar al Zahra, Liverpool is a U.K based charity which relies upon the generous support of donors to support the Islamic education of women, internationally. 

The teachers at Dar al Zahra, Liverpool, both local and international, have studied with the excellent and esteemed female teachers at Dar al Zahra, Tarim, Yemen. With openings from Allah, the courses during the last two years have been accessed by women of all ages from over 50 countries across 5 continents. Approximately three thousand and five hundred women have registered for these courses. The feedback we have received shows the impact has been profound, alhamdulillah. 

What did Dar al Zahra achieve in 1442 AH?

1. Mothers and Daughters online weekend course.

2. Dar al Zahra Liverpool fiqh/aqidah/seerah/sports/arts and Quran program for 14-18 year old girls.

3. Weekly online Aqidah classes with Ustadha Nagebah Hayel

4. Weekly online Fiqh (Shafa'i, Hanafi,and Maliki) Ustadha Nagebah Hayel, Ustadha Rummana Shaheen and Ustadha Mona Elzakanly 

5. Raising children course with Ustadha Zaynab bint Habib Umar.

6. Mothers of the Believers course with Ustadha Ieasha Prime.

7. Raising £23,000 for Sabeen Children's Hospital, Sana, Yemen

8. Raising funds, making clothing and toiletries parcels for a local homeless initiative.

9. Raising funds and collecting food items for a local food bank initiative. 

10. Daily "Awakening our Hearts" Ramadan classes. 

Alhamdulillah the collections and monetary donations bought joy and comfort to many families; Muslim and non-Muslim. 

Dar al Zahra would like to continue to grow and enrich the lives of women from as many communities as possible. 

The Dar al Zahra Waqf Project

Dar al Zahra in the long term intends to become independent of financial donations. Dar al Zahra has set up an endowment (Waqf) in the name of our Lady Fatimah Zahra. Alhamdulillah, Dar al Zahra has managed to purchase a property with a ground floor commercial shop unit and a flat. The next step is renovation work. This property will inshaAllah generate an income stream for Dar al Zahra, allowing it to grow in its services. The Waqf will allow Dar al Zahra to invest in further projects to create an income. 

How can you support the Dar al Zahra Waqf Challenge?

The intention is for Dar al Zahra to raise £92,000 by 15th Sha'ban 1443 (19th March 2022). We are asking you to pray for the success of this challenge in raising funds for this sadaqah jariyah (continuous charity) project. Please donate in your name and your loved ones; including those who have returned to Allah.
