Our Story

Sabeel is all about people development—our mission is to nurture and empower our brothers and sisters to excel and leave a lasting, positive impact on the world.

Part of this impact is our annual partnership with a humanitarian charity, and this year, we are excited to be working with One Ummah Charity—an organization with direct access to Gaza, ensuring aid reaches those who need it most.

This Ramadan, our cohorts are coming together once again to raise vital funds for our brothers and sisters in Gaza.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

The callous unrelenting attacks on Gaza has displaced 2 million people, leaving entire families homeless, children orphaned, and the whole population struggling for survival. The devastation is beyond imagination—buildings reduced to rubble, livelihoods destroyed, entire neighbourhoods wiped out. Yet, despite the suffering, our brothers and sisters in Gaza remain steadfast, placing their trust in Allah.

We have all seen the heart-breaking images and videos. We have heard the plans of those seeking to drive the people of Gaza out of homes, we have seen the unbreakable spirit of our heroes as they stand tall, clinging on to their land. This is our moment to act. Our moment to stand in solidarity—not just through words, but through real, meaningful support. They need us now, and we need to respond, for their sake and our own.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

This Ramadan, we are collecting ZAKAT and SADAQAH to provide life-saving aid to Gaza—food, water, shelter, medical assistance, and more.

The Prophet ﷺ also reminded us:

This is an opportunity not just to give, but to gain— Allah tells us

And whatever good you [believers] spend is for yourselves, and you do not spend except seeking the countenance of Allah. And whatever you spend of good - it will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged. [al-Quran 2:272]
