Jazak Allahu Khairan to all our generous Brothers and Sisters who donated to the Heating Project for the Men's Floor of the Masjid. 

We now have an amazing opportunity for Sadaqah Jariyah. We are starting fundraising for a new heating system for the Women's Floor, Library and Madrasah Area of the Masjid. 

The current system is only powerful enough to provide heat for up to 1 hour at a time which has prevented our sisters from wanting to come to the Masjid when it is cold. 

To ensure continuous heat to the space of over 8,000 square feet which covers the Women's Prayer Hall, Library and Madrasah we need to install 3 commercial heat pumps which will cost £25,000. As the new system would also rely on renewable energy this would save the Masjid approximately £6,000 per year in electrical expenses.

Alfurqan is a Masjid that makes sure to keep its doors open for the Women's Prayer Hall from 9am until Isha every single day of the year, in this time we have countless worshipers come to use our facilities and take part in the many activities that we offer throughout the week. 

By donating to this campaign you will be ensuring that all those who come to the Masjid to worship Allah will be comfortable and you will make the House of Allah a more inviting space for them. This is a great investment and you will be rewarded for every single time that the heating is used to provide comfort for the worshipers of Allah.
