My friend Islam has been working to rescue and support vulnerable children from dangerous environments for many years.

Working in some of the harshest environments you can imagine, he is now working with Muslim Charity who have been rescuing thousands of children from the streets where they are at risk of abuse and exploitation.

Muslim Charity understand that every country and community is different and our projects are designed to synchronise with societal norms, culture and government policies. 

In Pakistan, they are supporting children who are involved in child labour in Peshawar and brothel children in Lahore. Their social mobilisers encourage them to join their informal education centres where they ensure the children's education and psychosocial well being.

In Bangladesh, Muslim Charity have been rescuing street children since 2014. They have a permanent transitional shelter in Dhaka and also have regular Schools under the Sky, in train stations and Sadarghat ferry terminal, which are informal schools aiming to give street children a basic education and free meals.
