Do you know the story of our Prophet Ibrahim and the Ram?

Ibrahim’s son Ismail told his father “Do as you are commended,” when Ibrahim told his son he had a frightening dream. He dreamt that Allah (SWT) commanded he sacrifice his beloved Ismail. And they passed their Creator’s difficult test! Just when they were about to give up what they loved the most - each other - Allah replaced Ismail with a majestic Ram!

For the Pleasure of Allah to Celebrate Eid Al-Adha

In our sunnah and in our Holy Qur’an, Qurbani-Udhiyah is another chance to worship our Lord! A mercy to mankind… Subhan’Allah, we continue to commemorate Ibrahim and Ismail’s act of worship by sharing an animal or the prepared halal meat with the poor.

Allah (SWT) says, “It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is piety from your heart that reaches Him.” (23:37)

As narrated by Abdullah Ibn Umar, “The Prophet, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, stayed in Medinah for 10 years, offering sacrifice (each year on Eid).” (Ahmad and Tirmidhi).
