I am on a mission to keep healthy this Ramadan by walking and running to help raise funds for our Bradford refugee families. The rewards of giving Sadaqah or Zakat during Ramadan are multiplied by 70, reap the reward and help me reach my target!

In Ramadan 2021, with your help we raised £68,496. This much-needed cash allowed us to provide urgent and immediate support, over the last 12 months, to over 200 families and single people who often have nowhere else to turn to. Your kind donations were used to provide emergency Zakat grants, food parcels and other urgent assistance.

This year with the cost of living crisis, cost of food and fuel rising we can expect to see even more people needing help.

-£50 pays for a weekly food parcel for a large family

£250 is the average amount paid for an emergency cash grant 

Bradford Foundation Trust (BFT) is a registered charity that has worked with those fleeing wars in Syria, and across the Middle East, famine and conflict across Africa that have now settled in Bradford. Closer to home BFT supports those escaping domestic violence and other disadvantaged people. 

Core services include- emergency cash grants, food parcels, education and mentoring support for refugee children and pastoral care and a befriending service for adults who have suffered trauma and struggling to adapt to life in a new country, in our city of Bradford. 

Over the last 5 years BFT has distributed over £500,000 of your charity, Sadaka and Zakat, provided 10,000 food parcels, over 300 computers and delivered 1000's of hours of pastoral care and befriending support.

We support many families who are desperate and usually rely on shelters, soup kitchens and community organisations to survive.

Since the start of the pandemic, BFT has worked non-stop to continue to support the most vulnerable. With many organisations being forced to close our team of over 50 dedicated volunteers continued to offer much-needed support.
